I think it's quite interesting how you have explored the idea of the cross for your Hawking's quote. My one main suggestion for building on your UT2004 model would be to alter the datum. At the moment your components are simply sticking out from the wall. It would be great to see them interact in an interesting way with a no longer dead flat surface. I also suggest adding back into the model the sunlight and sky from Russel Lowe's template.
